FundraisingWe have to raise about £40,000 a year to keep running – it costs £1,000 a month to heat the pool alone. Our equipment such as patient hoisting chairs and physiotherapy equipment is maintained and replaced regularly – we are currently fundraising for a completely new electronic hoist to lift disabled patients into the pool, which will cost £20,000. This is quite a challenge, and we all work together to achieve this in many ways.
• Sales – secondhand and new books, home-made produce and high-quality greetings cards are on sale at the Centre. Donations of books and dvds are always welcome.

• Donations – please see our ‘Donations’ page for further details of giving (including Gift Aid) by cash, cheque, standing order, or a legacy your Will. |
James Buckley (patient) hands over a cheque for £4000 raised by his sponsored walk in September 2010 to the Directors and staff of the Pinder Centre. Well done James, you are an inspiration to us all. |
